"I couldn’t help but notice that I was the only one that liked this book on here, so I just had to post. While not a classic yet I am utterly convinced that one of Tolmie’s books will go on to be remembered for a long time. Her prose is truly fantastic, and she weaves such a compelling story in this (100 page) book. All the aspects of the human condition, folklore, spirituality and superstition that Tolmie brings in are handled incredibly delicately, with such sensitivity and heart. I was very much moved by this book, as well as All the Horses of Iceland, but I will not spend any time describing the contents od either as I think the best would be to go in blind, as I did."
