"I wanted to read this so bad. It felt like such a good concept. But it instead focused more on the dark and brooding fae than it ever does on being a warrior midwife. I really wish the book had focused on the relationship between fae and “widwifery”. Would have been interesting if her skills would have been super valuable for the fae. The direction the book went in was too stereotypical for my tastes."
