Survive

"This reminded me VERY MUCH of the movie, "The Mountain Between Us," which I enjoyed as well. My eyeballs were glued to the screen with this one. It starts off at a treatment center showing people with varying mental illnesses, with one main character suffering from PTSD/suicidal ideation and the other with their own issues. After the introduction of getting to know the characters, the movie takes off (pun intended) from there... Suspense/peril ensue... In addition, this is also a VERY VISUALLY APPEALING-looking movie, with fantastic mountainous views in abundance... -- Apparently this movie that I watched on Starz is the edited version of the series, "Survive," that had originally been shown on Quibi, the short-form streaming platform that is no longer, and then Quibi's content had moved to The Roku Channel. -- [Note that as of 9/15/24, Starz shows "Survive" as "Leaving Soon," meaning, I'm guessing, it may leave Starz the end of September 2024?]"

Jane, (Sophie Turner), a suicide survivor, whom is still depressed and having ideations, lives through a plane crash, along with this Paul guy she met at the airport before boarding , and coincidentally seated next to on board… that’s all I will write for now about it. This movie was adapted from the series by the same name, which is based on the novel of the same name by Alex Morel. Filmed in Latvia and Italy. Beautiful, snow-covered mountain shots. The film explores themes of survival, resilience, and the human spirit in the face of adversity. "
