"Who better to remake a John Woo movie, than John Woo? This American remake of the classic Chinese original has a lot of Woo's trademark slo-mo action sequences, but pales in comparison in the story department. The Killer's motivation in the original was love, in this story it's just a guilty conscience. Doesn't hit the same way. But still a decent action flick. 6.5/10"

"Terrible movie. It was so slow. The subtitles only worked when they were speaking French. So when they were speaking English you couldn't understand them most of the time, because the sound was muffled. I missed most of the plot because of it. I stopped like 45 minutes into it and told my parents they could finish it without me. They gave it a little bit longer, but then also shut it off. "
