‘The Legend of Baron To’a’ tells the story of Fritz, a Tongan entrepreneur who returns to his old neighbourhood and inadvertently causes the theft of his late father’s valued pro wrestling title belt by some ruthless gangsters led by ‘man-mountain’ Tahu. When negotiation and diplomacy fail to get it back, he is forced to embrace his father’s legacy to reclaim the title.

"This is literally the first Tongan movie I've ever seen. The whole cast is Tongan. It was good to see Nathaniel Lees from Matrix Reloaded. Hearing him speak his native language was really a pleasure. The plot is somewhat simple. The main character is taking an emotional journey. His fathers' wrestling championship belt has been stolen. The whole movie takes place in the small Tongan community, in a seemingly quiet cul-de-sac. The hero faces challenges along the way. Good acting from all involved. 30% Tongan audio. 70% English audio."
