"I can describe how I felt about this movie in one phrase: Second-hand embarrassment. I was cringing so hard throughout it. The jokes didn’t land at all. Every scene felt like Billy Eichner wrote down his random stream of consciousness and threw a plot in the middle of it to make a movie. Speaking of the plot, I have never seen a rom-com that is just so anti-romance?? Like 90% of the movie was just Billy Eichner talking about how gay relationships just don’t work and not in a “haha I don’t believe in love but I’ll find it” way. It was more like Eichner went on a tirade against monogamous relationships and then remembered at the end that this was a rom-com, so he felt obligated to have the leads end up together. It almost felt like I wasn’t supposed to root for Bobby and Aaron. This wasn’t helped by the fact that Billy Eichner and Luke Macfarlane had ZERO chemistry. The whole thing just felt wooden, like it had no real substance. I have seen some great LGBTQ+ films, and this is not one of them."
"This movie didn’t get good ratings on rotten tomatoes but I don’t agree. I thought it was hilarious. #Romantic."

"This movie has been talked about all over in lgbt groups. It has mixed reviews and I can see why. The creators do an amazing job showing our struggles with being lgbt. They do it so well that it is just depressing and not entertaining what so ever. It left me wondering if I too am that annoying as I don’t have much to talk about other than the small stuff happening in my life. "
"Cute rom-com. "
