Hi All! Simple, but difficult question… what’s your favorite movie and why? (I’m particularly curious about any from the golden era) :)

Craig S.Not very interested in older movies, but I did see this and enjoy this immensely. Love me some courtroom type movies, and this is very original.

TyroneThe culmination of the creative forces of visionary director Sergio Leone and mastercraft composer Ennio Morricone with the brilliant performances of Claudia Cardinale, Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson and Jason Robards. This film is the Western epic that I see as art in motion the kind that kept me captivated from beginning till end. The world it weaved from its characters, story and setting with the aid of its cinematography and musical score to me were absolutely incredible.

Jen AndIt's a mini series not a movie but I never know if it can be included. I avoided this for a long time thinking it was something else. I love the first misunderstood love story. I like hate to love stories. For a long time I thought Pride & Predjudice was the ultimate love story for me, then I found this. To me this is like "alternative music" to Pride and Predjudice. This one has darkness in it with industrial work, and deaths. I read the book and though the ending is different it became my favorite book. My 2nd favorite is Wonder Woman.

Natalee GroverThis movie is the perfect rom com and coming of age movie. I could watch it over and over again and never get bored. Plus the writing is so great that I don’t mind when I start memorizing the whole dialogue haha

SagesHear me out, this is the sequel to one of the most important movies ever. Tron 1 revolutionized CGI for film and told a pretty complex story.Tron legacy does the exact same thing for a new generation and builds upon its predecessor in every way. The CGI still looks better than most of what we get today, the story is a simple father / son tale but it works into the lore perfectly and the score is a down right masterpiece. Every aspect of this movie is incredibly detailed and done well.
