Was anyone else unaware that Hoopla has a "Movie Club" category in which they put only a small, curated selection of movies? Fargo is a current selection. It might be a section that's worth keeping an eye on.

Such a classic! Kathy Bates is incredible in this! She plays such a good crazy lunatic. My only negative on the movie is the pig... I understand that it's in there to show just how obsessed she is with his books, but the pig doesn't add anything to the story other than that. Besides that one little critique, I think this movie is great from start to finish. I hope there is never a remake of it. Misery needs to stay untouched. It is perfect the way it is!

To me a "best" or "favorite" Lynch film misses the point of this director. Here is an artist who made out-there films like Mulholland Drive and Eraserhead while also making The Straight Story and The Elephant Man. However to see Mulholland Drive and The Straight Story helps you understand the versatility in his talent and his sensitivity towards art. He could do structured narrative and pure abstraction. One type of movie complements the other in knowing what art could be, not what it should be.

I remember loving this movie, specifically for Kevin Spacey's great performance. Along with movies like Glengarry Glenn Ross and L.A. Confidential, is there anyone who is able to differentiate the artist from his past deeds? For those who liked/loved this movie, are you able to still enjoy this?

So it sounds like the guy who made 10,000 B.C., Moonfall and 2012 (Roland Emmerich) has studio approval to remake Lawrence of Arabia as a limited series. While they’re at it, they might as well as ask the local drunk, who can’t paint a wall, if he would like to redo the Sistine Chapel.

Does anyone else not ship Wolfstar? For those who don't know the ship name for Remus Lupin amd Sirius Black. It has nothing with it being a gay couple, it's just the fact that I don't ship it. I see them as genuine friends. Honestly they kind of remind me of Hermione and Harry, two mischievous friends with one being book smart but no romantic connection.

Hot take! So far I've detested every film I've watched with Barbra Streisand or Cher in it. However all the reviews seem to heap praise on these two ladies. I think they are great singers and cultural icons, but as actresses leave a lot to be desired. Anyone agree or disagree?

If the Ringling Bros, Barnum & Bailey Circus is coming to your area, then I recommend going to see it. As you might know, the show did away with their animal performers, but the fun, enjoyment, and energy are still there. Another thing I didn't realize is that they did away with their clowns' traditional makeup, presumably to make the show more palatable to those who feel creeped out by clowns, but this also didn't detract from the show. In fact, it let the individuals have more personality.

I recently finished the book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum for the first time. My only previous familiarity came from the 1939 film with Judy Garland. I enjoyed it. I am not sure that I will read it again. I am interested in reading the other books set in the same world. It looks like there are about 15 additional works and collections of short stories. I was surprised (I probably shouldn’t have been, considering the film is a product of Hollywood) at the changes from the source

What are everyone’s thoughts on them creating a Back To The Future 4? (And with Tom Holland) I didn’t grow up when the original movies came out but I did grow up watching the movies because my parents introduced them to me. I just feel like they should eventually stop messing with original movies and just create something new. The third Back To the Future wasn’t even the best the story was so drawn out and far from the other two. So I dont know what to think about this.
