Leo Drake, the “Mad Monk of Monkcrest,” is notoriously eccentric and unquestionably reclusive. But he is also a noted antiquities expert, which is why Beatrice Poole has demanded his reluctant assistance.The freethinking authoress of “horrid novels,” Beatrice is searching for the Forbidden Rings of Aphrodite, a mythic treasure she suspects played a role in her uncle's death. Beatrice finds Leo every bit as fascinating as one of the heroes in her novels—and she's convinced he's the only one who can help her. But after only five minutes in her company, Leo is sure he's never met a woman more infuriating . . . and more likely to rescue him from boredom.Yet the alliance may well prove to be the biggest mistake of their lives. For a villain lurks in London, waiting for the pair to unearth the Forbidden Rings—knowing that when they do, that day will be their last. . . .Praise for With This Ring“If you start an Amanda Quick book in the late afternoon, you'll probably spend the night with it.”—The Denver Post“[Amanda Quick is] an exceptional storyteller.”—Daily News of Los Angeles

"This sequel didn’t disappoint! Zaire and Sakari’s second chance at love is leading them down the aisle. Zaire is still loving, and supportive but Sakari is feeling out of sorts because she is still grieving the loss of her mother, and she has never known her father. Zaire gives her the love, space and support to work through her feelings as they prepare to be wed and have their happily ever after. This novella is romantic, sweet and spicy! Great job again, Ara Moore!"
"Not going to lie, this was a frustrating read. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book where the MCs were this disinclined to listen to the advice of others, even when everyone is screaming the same thing at them. This book was ## chapters of the side characters telling the MCs the same thing over and over, and the MCs going “nuh uh!”, and running away like belligerent children.

Random Notes from my read:
* Oh god, Hudson has turned into the kind of person who grew up poor and overcorrected into a giant snob
* Parker…bro. Read the room. Also, don’t just show up to someone’s house unannounced. That’s just rude
* Oh my god, just talk to each other already
* I need something else to happen other than the MCs sticking their fingers in their ears and saying “lalalalalala”
* Oh thank god someone said it. Bravo, Skye!
* *bangs head against wall*

Many thanks to Netgalley for providing me with the DRC and allowing me to provide my honest review"
