Worth watching if I'm not a huge fan of scary/horror movies?

This show was scary, emotional, a roller coaster but full of chills and thrills. Starts a little slow but picks up around 3rd episode. What a watch! If you've watched, what do you think??

I've turned off quite a few modern documentaries lately due to poor format. However I was pleasantly surprised by The Tom Green Documentary. A perfect balance of real footage laced with minimal interviews and some voice over.

Started this series a couple weeks ago, and currently on episode 5. For me, it’s one of those shows that combines historical caricatures, interesting plot twists, & intentional stupidity for, overall, a really entertaining and comedic effect. Is the Hype behind this show deserved? Everyone seems to love this, I'm not usually a person who watches these shows like ER was a pass for me. Greys Anatomy was ok for a couple seasons I'm not that much into the soap opera like drama shows like this bring I'm More of a thriller suspense whodunnit guy but is this still worth checking out? I mean I did like Gray's Anatomy for awhile until cast started changing crazy.

OK I know I will be in big trouble for this considering how monsterly popular this show was but I feel like rwbys world building/character writing was all over the place the fairytale themes where stretched out and I felt like they were surface level only in some cases and it felt like they either failed to research the character inspirations or just couldn't be bothered and some characters inspirations were two different characters mashed in ways that didn't make sense if you knew the story

Another fantasy film from late last month, Death of a Unicorn, released to mediocre reviews. This is disappointing, as I actually had my eye on this one. Has anyone seen this Paul Rudd/Jenna Ortega film? How was it?

SO GOOD! The comedy landed, the storyline was exciting, and the acting was superb. I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. I do hate that I knew what the plot was kind of about because of the advertising. This movie could have had an awesome twist had the advertising not given it away. Besides that, the movie as a whole is a fun ride! Definitely see it when you have the chance.

Followed the advice of other people that had seen this movie and went in blind......and really enjoyed it. What a great allegory of an abusive relationship, the power and control exerted over another is terrifying. 4/5 stars

Do the trailers feel like a Rube Goldberg machine of death to anyone else?

Did anybody watch the new episode of Handmaid’s Tale? What a great feeling that was for me. Omg I'm so vindicated for never liking or trusting Nick since Season 1! I always knew, no matter what he did for June, that something was off. Now, after six seasons, my suspicions have come full circle. Like even during this episode I just keep saying to myself god I hate Nick and it started to feel like maybe something is wrong with me lol but the episode ending like that was all I needed #HandmaidsTale

Okay so I just watched this and is it just me or did the other guy absolutely pale in comparison to Gabe/Danny Ramirez? He was the whole reason I watched it. The movie was cute though. I liked how it showed that no matter what happens to you things are going to work out.

This starts off quietly but hits strides like Jujutsu Kaisen by ep 8. One of the best currently playing in the action genre.

Please never watch this.

Upload season 2 is now streaming! Who has watched the new season?

To me a "best" or "favorite" Lynch film misses the point of this director. Here is an artist who made out-there films like Mulholland Drive and Eraserhead while also making The Straight Story and The Elephant Man. However to see Mulholland Drive and The Straight Story helps you understand the versatility in his talent and his sensitivity towards art. He could do structured narrative and pure abstraction. One type of movie complements the other in knowing what art could be, not what it should be.

For anyone who watched this show, what did you think? I love Night Shyamalan but he can be so hit or miss he has some absolute bangers and some absolute flops. This looked so intriguing but it also looks like it can be very drawn out and slow. Is this a #Horror or #Suspense ? I'm legit surprised it has so many seasons so I'd assume the later seasons aren't as good. What are you thoughts on this? Shall I begin streaming? Thanks!

Has anyone else seen that The Peripheral,which was previously picked up for another season, has now been cancelled? It is due to the writers strike. The explanation was that they wouldn’t be able to get it out to the public until 2025 and they thought people would have lost interest at that point. I’m so disappointed. I feel like we loose a lot of interesting or promising sci fi shows too early in their infancy. They are given less of a chance by the general public.

How do you feel about the use of AI in films, documentaries and tv shows?

I've been watching Secrets of the Penguins on Disney+ recently, and I love it so far! It's beautifully filmed! I highly recommend checking out the first episode "Heart of the Emperors". The ending scene with the penguins jumping off the 50 ft ice cliff is crazy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Heaven Sent with my personal favorite actor, Christian Kane, as Billy Taylor. This story hit close to home with so many people. Mallory James Mahoney,(Taylor) I believe this is her first acting project. She knocks it out of the park. Highly recommend giving this touching story a watch!
