"somehow both my favorite and least favorite from the series. to be honest, Malkom is a little rapey. when he finds Carrow trying to get the handrail for ruby, his thoughts literally show that he's gonna screw her even if she doesn't want it. and when he sees she's crying, he only let's her go to break whatever she wants. I see people make excuses for it all because "well she tricked him" but I don't give a damn. she was kidnapped, with the girl she was supposed to protect, and when offered the girl and hers release, she took it. plus he still blames her for it all while they're staying in the cabin. and what, it's okay because "she's my mate" hell no. if i were left alone in a room with the creep, I'd punch him. this book is so damn contradicting to me. I love carrow and her strength, and i loved malkom until that little bit. regardless, if it's your cup of tea, then I'm not judging, I just think he's got dick cheese. "
