"This book has more of a trigger warning with blood and gore. There are some bad violent scenes. Towards the end there is a birth scene that is gross and can trigger many people. I still like this book but it is depressing at times to read. Most of the characters have gone through at least one very traumatic event that affected the characters. There is a lot of hope gone. It is a very depressing book to read. It is still interested in seeing where the story goes and how much the characters grew. In this book there are changes in a lot of the characters compare to the first book. <br/><br/>There are some characters or past POV parts that could have easily been cut out. This series does have too many characters and POV. Justin could have been litterly any little kid and it would not change the story. The same for Rodger. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Spoiler<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>I am kinda annoyed why we didn’t kill Penny. Even Lana said that Penny would become a problem later but made it Quinn’s job if he should kill her or not. The only reason we were able to defeater was because of Lana. What if Lana dies or is not there? Why would they allow someone that dangerous and strong wonder around?<br/><br/>Edilio relationship came out of no where. I wish there was some scenes of them together and more focus on Rodger. Rodger has little important in the story. I could have cut him and Justin out and not much would change. I think a lot was going on towards the end that some of the drama could have been cut. Outside the FAYZ could have been cut. <br/>"

"A Review of the Series: I cannot comprehend how it is even possible for me to have loved this series but against my better judgement, I do. Getting to this last book was both horrifically terrifying and engagingly easy. Had I no need for food, keeping up with my classes, and to pee, I’d have sat down and read this entire series cover to cover. Confusing, enlightening, dangerous, scary, terrifying, beautiful, crazy, maddening, and intricate, this series has had it all. It is yet undecided if it has changed me for the better but it has definitely changed me for good. As a reader, I am blown away by the intricacies of the characters and Michael Grant’s ability to turn one story into many that stretch across 6 books. As a writer, I am fascinated by the overwhelming amount of deep detail and thought he has put into these books. This complicated world full of mayhem and chaos is absolutely stunning from a writing perspective. It’s beautifully written and deeply organized. From the details in the characters to the presence, suppression, and exploitation of their flaws, these books are well done. To Michael Grant himself I say farewell, good riddance, and many thank yous. As much as I very much wish I hadn’t dove so deeply into this series, I am grateful for the experience to read such a one of a kind masterpiece. With great caution, I recommend experiencing the Gone series."
