"I loved this book from beginning to end. Although it had 918 pages, it never seemed to bore me or become lacking in interest. It followed three story lines that merged together in the end. I fell in love with many characters and the evil ones were truly evil. I was sad when some characters died and wished they could have seen the end of the story, but their memories lived on throughout the story in their importance and relevance."

"Hands down the BEST book I've ever read. The beginning honestly had me almost put the book down because I thought it was gonna be some boring take on the apocalypse but OMG am I glad I kept reading. It's terrifying because of how realistic the situation is but McCammon makes it even more interesting by throwing in a lil paranormal twist. The character building is great. Had me on the edge of my seat & reading throughout the night. "
