"Unique story a different take on catching a murderer. Jessica’s mother was the first of many to be murdered when she was seven. In a plan to try and catch the killer she lands a spot on a reality tv show where it all plays out from there. I feel this would be a good pg13 movie to watch with your pre-teen or teen. It kept things interesting and I wanted to know who the killer turned out to be."

I was actually surprised by this book. It really kept me on my toes, especially for a debut novel, that's amazing lol. I absolutely loved the short chapters, I mean there was maybe 3 pages of some chapters maximum, I feel like that's what made this book even better because it felt so fast paced. I'm usually not into having a book surrounded by social media, but having a live YouTube episode every Monday for the next 3 months to catch a murderer, that's pretty impressive lol. Although sometimes it was kind of weird because Jessica would do certain stuff like try and confront the killer in alley and its just like, girl you're 17 you can't do much lol. I thought I had it figured it out and thinking it'll be one of the teachers, Mr. Humphries because he seemed a bit suspicious along with some other characters but that was the another making me look the other way lol. I definitely should've read more carefully about who said what on the topic of Bernie's step dad. He was a real creep and I guess a murderer also. The thing is though, yes the teacher Mr. Collins was revealed not to be the murderer, but that doesn't explain why he had rope and dirty shoes...Anyway, I really liked this book, can't believe it took me almost 2 years to read it though lol."
"A really good, fast paced read. Its one of those books thatll help get you out of a reading slump! "
