"Wow! What a way to finish the series. I’m happy to finally read about Sloane and Lucian who have been my favorite couple from book one, ❤️but I am sad that it’s over now🙁
These two characters and their story was just beautiful. I loved how they argued but we’re always still there for one another, especially Lucian and how he always protected her from far. 🫶🏻I’m so glad Lucy Score saved the best for last. ❤️❤️❤️
I loved this small town and all the characters in it, the way they protect one another and supported each other🩷🩵💜 was just wonderful to see from each book. I’m definitely going to miss this series. 😫 "
"when I tell you I DEVOURED this book WHEW!! it was finished in 2 days (don’t even ask about the work I was supposed to do) - a friends to enemies to lovers kind of book, grumpiest x sunshine, pining, kind of everything you want book !! I loved lucian and sloane’s dynamic and their history was so rich and interesting! the banter was so good (it usually is when they can both get under each others skin so well) and their communication in the end was so lovely! the thrill, the angst, the spice, the love GAH it was so good!!"
"I mean I do not want to ever leave Knockemout, but this has to be the best way to do so. Sloane and Lucian, simply put, are everything. More than everything. Their strength, banter, love, and more are really just top tier. I cried, laughed, cheered, chastised, and really sympathized and related with these characters. (I mean I have so many favorite moments but I would really like to just highlight when Lucian realized he was starting to smile again. My heart broke a little for him but I think it was just such a beautiful moment.) They are definitely one of my favorite couples ever. Also, I love the interconnectedness of all of the couples (and to read about the side characters); it is so great to keep checking in with all of my favorites. I am so happy that Lucy Score exists and that I get to read her works of art. Truly amazing. "

"This book!! I actually read it as a stand alone on accident. I have a bad habit of not researching what books I purchase. It was SOOO GOOD. This is the first book I read where I repeatedly had to pause to channel my inner basic girl and “omg” at what I was reading. Slow burn is right and I enjoyed every minute of it. Lucy Score does an amazing job at making you feel completely immersed in the Knockemout world. Though I haven’t read the first few yet, I know I will revisit them with the same nostalgia that keeps me going back to Gilmore Girls. "
