"This Book! I’m always looking for my next favorite mystery detective story, and this novel has everything I look for in a mystery AND MORE! My first novel by Alice Blanchard and I loved it! The details, the characters, the story. It all lined up perfectly. I usually do prefer books written in first person, and I first I thought it would make it hard for me to get into, but I was soon proved so wrong. It was an instant hook from the first chapter!

We follow Natalie Lockhart on her quest to find justice. It is such a good feeling to read novels with female protagonist that are GOOD.. no they are AMAZING. I want to be like Natalie when I grow up.. I never felt annoyed by her or questioned her character.

We follow her journey in trying to solve *multiple* murders, some super cold cases, and some.. only minutes old. This novel is definitely intense, and there will be lots of twists and turns you won’t see coming. You’ll be cheering for Natalie to find the answers she’s looking for, but soon realize, maybe she’s not ready to find out the truth.

Also, little tidbit, one of the essential super important characters name is Ellie, and I was also cheering for her! The author Alice did a great job writing all the characters, and of course Ellie was my fave.

I can’t wait for the next book, I’ve become a devoted Natalie Lockhart fan.

♡Read more of my reviews on my blog at elliesinfinitebooks.com!"
