"3.75 Surprisingly, for someone who needs world-building and character growth, I absolutely love this series. The author warns you right away that this is ****, so don't expect some deeper level stuff. Still, it's really good ****. These are essentially Hallmark books with monsters, and I wasn't disappointed. For me, it was a bit too short, though. There weren't enough couple dates, and the ending was wrapped up rather quickly. But the characters' chemistry was so darn cute. I could not get over the adorable clicks and chirps and I think my cheeks are still flaming from the sweetness of it all. Merrick is a muscler stuttering considerate man who can't take his eyes off of Grace. Again, it's so freaking cute. I'm really enjoying the town that this series is centered around. It is diverse and accepting of the inhabitants. The different species are intriguing, and I can't wait to read the rest. Also, the humor is top-notch. Everything boils down to a fun short read."
