"Story was hard to follow…don’t get me wrong I love a good Hades and Persephone story and although this wasn’t Persephone, I was hoping I could get into it. Unfortunately I could not, characters didn’t seem well developed and story was just kind of underwhelming. "

"Pros: I have read so many Hades retellings recently hoping to find something different and none of them really got there for me until now! Carly has used the known classic myths as character history, brought them to the present and gave them the challenge of trying what we all try for: to find happiness and a way to fit. Cons: There were several typos but they weren’t to the point where they cut out the ability to understood what was meant and what was going on."
