"SO GOOD. It is incredibly gothic in the manner of the classics, and the author very clearly did her research. The book really feels like it's set in it's time period. It gave me everything I was hoping for, while also shocking me before finally ending in a very satisfying manner. I highly recommend, just be warned that this is definitely not a book for everyone. I'll say that there are some... Questionable sexual encounters and leave it at that because to tell would spoil a large bit of the book"
