"2.75 star This story started out well. FINALLY a twisted bad@$$ female who can take care of herself. Heidi was spitting mean like a snake and crafty. While the plot didn't drag everything was too convenient. Heidi stumbled across an item that was ten years old and should have been replaced but still worked. (For instance you lose your credit card you don't get another with the same number and pin code) *eye roll*. All along their journey everything fell into their lap. The things you thought would be enemies were overbearing nice and helpful.

The steamy scenes were just too much. I didn't enjoy them they were overly done and took away from the book tremendously. I got the the first scene and almost quit reading. Honestly if this wasn't the last book I would have. I mean I got use to the weird in the other two stories but this one took it to a whole new level. When Gund presented his self in front of everyone I was just like ok this is dumb. And the lame flirting threw me off many times over.

They did meet new creatures which I enjoyed. I have a feeling their will be new stories about the Atlavan's and Minotaur's but in all actuality I don't believe I will be continuing after this one. I felt a real connection between Emala and her mates but not so much with Heidi. They fell apart so easily I don't see their issues getting resolved anytime soon.

Tah was probably my favorite. I was wondering why Ragoru always ate bland food and he help me learn a little more along that subject. Orth was playful and sweet I admired how he never gave up on Heidi. Gund just felt like a total sellout. I honestly didn't think he would ever accept Heidi. Gund hardly ever gave an indication he liked her. Their characteristics were much too similar and clashed with the overall structure. You can't have two alphas.

I couldn't appreciate this story like I wanted too. I love the alien Ragoru's. This triad didn't work well together. Everything was handed to them. The end fight scene did not really amounting to much. The introduction to new species was intriguing. I guess I set my hopes to high for this story after loving the last one so much."
"it has a really good storyline and the build up of the relationship between the two main characters had to have been my favorite part. i probably will be rereading soon. "
