"Ugh so glad I finally got to read the first comic of this amazing love story!!! I can’t imagine reading this before the rest of the volumes or the show came out. Just picturing the turmoil of being left with the cliffhanger of Charlie and Nick kissing at the party and Charlie running off and not knowing what would happen next would have been torture! The art style in the comics is so cute and I love seeing the little touches Alice took from her book into the show. There are some moments and writing choices from this I wish made it into the show, like Darcy and Tara witnessing Nick tell off Harry at the party and the fact that all of the characters cuss. I also wish that Nick’s friends Christian, Sai, and Otis were in the show. Them sussing out that Nick liked Charlie was adorable and honestly, a boy as sweet as Nick deserves a good friend group. Overall though, the show is VERY close to this. It’s honestly impressive. "
"What's not to love, it's the embodiment of of softness and cuteness that any queer person would want out a romance."
