"I have to start this off by saying that I adore Felicia Day which is 100% why I listened to this audiobook. Having several different well-known Actors/Narrators was a huge plus as well. With that said you need to take that into account for my rating. I would have given this a higher score but it was very fast-paced with several different characters who at times were in conversations with each other. Thank goodness they were played by different people so you knew who was speaking.

This fantasy audiobook was funny, cheeky, a little naughty, and had a bit of danger mixed in. Without spoiling anything, it is about the main character Laurel Pettigrew voiced by Felicia Day who was supposed to be the Chosen One, and the plan was that she would vanquish the great evil Tybus in an epic battle. However, that plan didn't quite work out as it was intended. She also crosses paths with a "normal" girl named Kate who seemingly knows more about Laurel, than she does of herself.

With the help (or hindrance?) of her friends and acquaintances (vampires, fairies, and demons, OH MY!) Laurel is trying to figure out how to help Kate and deal with an upcoming not-so-welcome yearly tradition that mocks her failures as a magical being. Also, the fairy is sassy, and I loved her.

This was a quick audiobook and I found it very entertaining. Having Neil Gaiman as the main Narrator leading this tale with the main character played by Felicia Day ("Supernatural", "Monster High"), this story also includes stars:

Sean Astin (“The Lord of the Rings”, "The Goonies", "Rudy")
LilyPichu (Offline TV, "The Misfits of Demon King Acadamy")
Wil Wheaton (“Star Trek”, "Stand By Me", "Big Bang Theory")
London Hughes (“The Netflix Afterparty”, "BBC Comedy Feeds")
Danny Pudi (“Mythic Quest”, “Somebody I Used to Know”)
Alan Tudyk (“Peter Pan & Wendy”, "American Dad!")
Hudson Yang (“Fresh Off the Boat”, "Honor Student")
Christopher Judge (“God of War Ragnarök”, "The Guardians of Justice")"
