"To me, when reading a fantasy book I want to be wooed with every word, every sentence, every paragraph. It has to have a sort of melody that keeps me hooked and reading especially if it's a thick book and I want to get into the world. The writing style for this is not for me - too pragmatic and mechanical. I also couldn't get immersed, what with all of the poltical propaganda our world suffers from today leaking into the characters. So I stopped reading and I'm moving on. "
