"Actual rating: 3.5 stars

I found this a difficult book to work through--sometimes because it felt repetitive, but mostly because it was painful and uncomfortable to read about Blake continually making poor choices and getting blackout drunk, again. Which I think some of the repetitiveness was intentional. Blake kept making the same wrong choices, leading to bad results. But as painful and frustrating as that is, it's realistic and a conversation that needs to be had, since heavy drinking is so prevalent and often perceived as normal behavior. I think it ended things well with her finally admitting she had a problem, leaving behind toxic relationships, and making new, healthy ones."
