"What a strong voice! Definitely all the content warnings - swearing, rape and assault, drug use (indirect), teen pregnancy…etc. but you knew that after reading the book’s description! A really interesting exploration; though I felt a bit voyeuristic at times. But the book itself addresses that feeling and challenge, so lots of credit there. This is a hard review to figure out what to say in - I’ll just end by saying it was worth a read."
