"I usually love Jennifer Saint’s books and I’m a big fan of mythology retellings in general but I really struggled to get through this one. Hera has never been my favourite deity to begin with. She is petty and punishes the victims of her husband instead of taking her wrath out on him as she should. I thought I might see her in a more sympathetic light in this book, but I was mistaken. It did show how awful Zeus is to her but her reactions are still wrong and I couldn’t feel for her. "

"It made me see Hera in a totally different light, good work and while it felt detached from the world and sort of emotionless in general thats just bc of how the narrator phrased things. Otherwise a great book and good job."
