"3/5 I didn’t realize it was talking about roller derby before going into the book and I wasn’t a huge fan. It’s kind of a weird story with a lot of different dramatic pieces that I feel kind of made the story less impactful. For example not only did his mom die but so did his dad and twin brothers and then his grandparents died at some point before the story. Mayhem never met her dad and floated from town to town with her mother until they found this town when she was a kid and oh her mom dies so she ends up in foster care. There is like ten other things to add but I don’t want to completely ruin it. He ends up being the women’s coach for the roller derby and they train to try and win the grand prize to save the youth Center. It’s a cute story with lots of drama. Spice factor"
