Calladia Cunnington curses the day she met Astaroth the demon, but when he shows up memoryless, why does she find him so helpless . . . and sort of hot?Calladia Cunnington knows she’s rough around the edges, despite being the heir to one of small-town Glimmer Falls’ founding witch families. While her gym obsession is a great outlet for her anxieties and anger, her hot temper still gets the best of her and manifests in bar brawls. When Calladia saves someone from a demon attack one night, though, she’s happy to put her magic and rage to good use . . . until she realizes the man she saved is none other than Astaroth, the ruthless demon who orchestrated a soul bargain on her best friend.Astaroth is a legendary soul bargainer and one of the nine members of the demon high council—except he can’t remember any of this. Suffering from amnesia after being banished to the mortal plane, Astaroth doesn’t know why a demon named Moloch is after him, nor why the muscular, angry, hot-in-a-terrifying-way witch who saved him hates him so much.Unable to leave anyone in such a vulnerable state—even the most despicable demon—Calladia grudgingly decides to help him. (Besides, punching an amnesiac would be in poor taste.) The two set out on an uneasy road trip to find the witch who might be able to restore Astaroth’s memory so they can learn how to defeat Moloch. Calladia vows that once Astaroth is cured, she’ll kick his ass, but the more time she spends with the snarky yet utterly charming demon, the more she realizes she likes this new, improved Astaroth . . . and maybe she doesn’t want him to recover his memories, after all.

"OMG! I absolutely loved this book! I loved "A Witch's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon" so I had very high expectations for this book and it did not disappoint at all! It was such a fast paced, easy read! The romance was amazing! A great mix of spice and fluff! I loved the banter between the main characters! This book was so funny, it had me laughing out loud so many different times! Enemies to lovers, forced proximity, only one bed, amnesia, a very strong FMC, and it's dual POV! 10/10 would recommend! I can hardly wait for book 3 to come out!"
"The second in the series, this was much like the first book in that it was full of enchanting descriptions of where they live. There was a nice review at the beginning to catch us up to where the first story left off. This one seemed to have more of an empowerment message to it (in a good way). Overall a fun read. "

"This book was short, lighthearted, and fun! I like a good little romcom, even if a few parts were a little awkward. The only bad thing I have to say about this book, is that it clearly wants to be an enemies-to-lovers, when it’s really just a I-really-don’t-like-you-to-lovers, which is completely different in my eyes. I want to believe the characters might actually kill each other, not that they might just have a heated argument lol"
"Loved the chemistry & passion between the characters, but always get turned off when an artist wants to push their political views in their art. A quick reference is fine, but I'd prefer to not read a romantic, fantasy story with more politics than romance. Loved the first book, won't be buying the second, and look forward to the third."

"DNF @ 65%<br/><br/>I just couldn't connect with the characters. <br/><br/>Actually, not true, I totally understood Caladia's mother thinking Caladia was an embarrassment. Do people actually enjoy fisticuffs? Is that a thing? She was supposed to be a tomboy but I don't think being a violient hooligan is the qualifying factor. The concept of a 'tomboy' is pretty antiquated in general. Beings can like whatever they like (barring violence) regardless of their gender. <br/><br/>I didn't like the FMC at all. She's an unhinged menace. The MMC was like a poorman's version of Daniel Cleaver and equally as useless. The plot is one long hike up a mountain where they stumble upon weird cute side characters. Think Lord of the Rings meets JigglyPuff. <br/><br/>I gave this more time and effort then I'd ever give considering a real life camping trip so I'd count it as a win."
"What I Liked:<br/>1. Calladia - I liked how she was tough and such a badass. Seeing her kick ass and not take **** from anyone was really inspiring. I loved that we also got to see a bit more about magic in this book. We see Calladia use her powers throughout the entire novel which is really fun. <br/><br/>2. Expansion of the universe - I loved that we got to step outside Glimmer Falls and see more of this magical world. For some reason, I just assumed that only Glimmer Falls had magic, which is a little dumb on my part. But I loved seeing the smaller towns and just seeing how mythical creatures and humans co-exist. I also love that we got to see more of the demon plane and what it’s like.<br/><br/>3. Astaroth - I appreciated his redemption arc and I think the amnesia definitely helped with that. I really didn’t like him in the first novel and if he didn’t have the memory loss, I’m sure none of this character growth would have been remotely possible. I also liked that he didn’t just revert to someone completely evil after he got all of his memories back. It does bother me a little that he comes out of this completely changed. I find it hard to believe that 1-3 weeks is enough to completely undo 600 years of being a cold, calculating, manipulative, and power hungry demon. <br/><br/>What I Didn’t Like:<br/>1. Instant love - I’ve noticed this as a bit of a pattern in the Glimmer Falls novels. All of the romance happens so deeply/passionately so quickly. Mariel and Oz and Calladia and Astaroth all fell in love in a matter of weeks? At most? It’s definitely not months and it’s a trope that always bothers me. This may not bother everyone though.<br/><br/>2. I wish we saw more of Mariel, Oz, and Themmie. The first book was much better at the inclusion of side characters being incorporated into the plot while this one was mostly just focused on Calladia and Astaroth.<br/>"
