"This was honestly hard to keep up with. At times it just didn’t feel cohesive. The first book was thrilling, had me on the edge of my seat I absolutely had to read this. The book I feel tried to do world building when it came to the new setting in Los Angeles and how the people act there. I feel the pacing was also an issue as the first plot is almost completely scrapped when he finds his nice victim. It’s not entirely bad. There are some good chapters but I honestly don’t think I’ll be reading again. Too confusing and weird pacing. Not the worst but probably my least favorite In the whole series."

"I actually enjoy the differences between this book and season 2 of You. There are plenty of similarities yet the few different characters add their own charm in both. Very enjoyable read and we all like Joe and root for him. Afterall, he only harms evil people right?"

"I LOVED HIDDEN BODIES. You could feel the shift in Joe from New York to Los Angeles. He's still the same Joe, but he's just a bit cheerier...optimistic, maybe? He's still hilarious and the character carried over well. I admire Caroline Kepnes and any entertainment creator who can make the readers feel compassion for someone with villainous qualities. It is hard to do and Kepnes excels at it. I loved Amy and Love. They still had their own crap going on, but they were both more vibrant than Beck. I can't wait for the next book!"

"Not as good as the 1st book It was enjoyable but everyone Joe comes in contact is entirely one dimensional. There is no depth to any of the side characters. They are all vapid and clueless. Honestly, I liked the 2nd season of the show a lot more than this book. The characters in the show are just as awful as the ones in the book, but better developed. Also, Joe is kind of like Forrest Gump. He has amazing luck and always just happens to have things work out for him."

"I have to reply to this review, just finished reading this book to start the 3rd book. Now, I have to say I feel a bit disappointed. First of all, sorry if I'm one of those who sees it, before your read it. But, I have to agree the show had more character and was more vivid with showing some life to the characters. The book was more surrounded in the life of Forthy, then describing more about Love. Which is Joe's wife and mother of his first child. Reason I give credit to the show, and not as much for the book."
