"This was such a disappointment because this book goes nowhere. The characters are very underdeveloped so you never feel like you know anything about them. The girls in Gloss never really interact-on the page it feels like they never communicate or know anything about each other. Even the 3 that knew each other before Cassidy joined did not act like friends. Therefore, you never feel any connection to the characters and since everything happens off page and you are only told things that happen, you don’t feel the impact of anything that supposedly caused Cassy’s unraveling."
