Elle Kennedy
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Elle Kennedy comes an addictive new adult series set against the backdrop of an elite academy where the only thing more dangerous than the powerful seniors who rule without consequences are the secrets they're keeping. Welcome to Sandover Academy, where the delinquents roam...and you can't trust a soul. Finding out your mom is marrying some rich guy you've never met is enough to make any eighteen-year-old's head spin. And for RJ Shaw, it gets worse: he's being sent to Sandover Academy for senior year. If there's one place a misfit hacker like RJ doesn't belong, it's an ivy-covered all-boys boarding school for rich delinquents. There's no point trying to get along with anyone. That is, until he meets Sloane Tresscott in the woods on the outskirts of campus. Gorgeous and sharp-tongued, Sloane is pure temptation. Except Sloane is the one girl he's forbidden from touching. The headmaster's daughter. Good thing RJ doesn't believe in rules. Sure, Sloane insists she's swearing off boys this year, but he wants her bad, and he's going to win her over if it kills him--unless her ex-boyfriend, the ruling king of Sandover, kills him first. Luckily, RJ's unwittingly made some friends. His new stepbrother Fenn, a pretty boy with a self-destructive streak. Lawson, self-proclaimed agent of chaos. And Silas, the All-American good guy who can't actually be as nice as he seems. If RJ wants to survive prep school and win Sloane's heart, he'll need to figure out a way to use all the secrets hidden in the walls of Sandover.

This is really 3.5 stars but I'm not going to round it up. This is my 2nd read but Elle Kennedy, and I will say The Deal was way better. I'm stilling planning on continuing the off campus series, but I wanted to give this one a try. It honestly was good at the beginning, meeting Fenn and his dad, along with our main character RJ and his mom. Like I said the beginning wasn't bad, it was until we met the other characters that kind of sucked lol. I wasn't expecting multiple povs, and I was happy to get more than 2 but I wished it was just between RJ and Sloane. I liked her pov, it was nice to read a character who isn't so mushy and romantic lol. But I could've gone without Lawson and his chapters. I didn't think this story needed a student/teacher(s) relationship brought in, his "relationships" with both men and women were okay to hear from others but just not in explicit detail. I mean come on elle!! There was a lot of talk like that throughout the whole book and the actual spice didn't happen until about 200 pages in, which I'm not complaining, I actually liked the pacing of that but yet it was a bit too soon for RJ and Sloane to fall in love and hookup. But I liked their sincerity, it kind of felt genuine for prep high schoolers lol. Also, I honestly think the whole deal with Fenn and Sloane sleeping with each other before either of them knew RJ seemed unnecessary drama. I mean sure every book needs a third act breakup but really? Now the whole mystery with Casey was bugging me!! I for sure thought Silas had something to do with it, because his character/chapters seemed a bit shady to me and it wasn't because he liked Sloane. But then, Fenn kept trying to say certain things, and I'm like "Okay he definitely had something to do with it" turns out I was right! But I feel like he was covering up for his best friend, I can't remember his name but it's Lucas's brothe. Continue on Goodreads!"
"Very good. Honestly I heard ppl saying this was the best book they ever read and tbh I don’t agree with that but still it was very very good, just not THAT good. I love the characters and how they’re like soft spot for eachother and the multiple povs is v v interesting. I fw this book a lot "
