"The series begins with a million questions that pull you in right away. But after a while become painfully drawn out. I think this trilogy could have been written in 2 books. A lot of things that were didnt make sense at times somethings were too obvious. I did enjoy the main character and her relationship. It just seemed like some of the geeky references were pushed. I started out liking this series but at the end of book 3 I was ready for it to end. All together not a terrible read but nothing shocked me or put me on the edge of my seat."
"I am absolutely, utterly, entirely obsessed with this series. The genetic power plot was so interesting and if I didn’t understand the science behind it, I would just reread multiple times until I comprehended because it is just insane. The author slowly weaved the Dyers and Shaws past into the present and it all came crashing down in this book. I loved it. Noah is the type of character that is so admirable and beautiful, you wish he really existed. The lethal injection scene with Noah, Mara, and David was devastating and made my heart hurt for Noah. I’ve never felt more empty after reading or watching something. I was so sad that I finished it, but grateful to have read it. Unforgettable. "
"the last book in the trilogy but still had me hanging on to every word. the story takes some time to understand because it’s so confusing but overall, so worth it. "

"<br/>I really enjoyed this book. The series is well written and the plot is excellent. It seems like a contemporary at first, but nothing is as it seems in Mara's world. I only had one problem with it. Some questions didn't feel answered. Like it was answered but not in a satisfying way. 4.5*"
