"*WARNING THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS* Was this a necessary addition to the series? No, it was not. Was this cute? Yes, it was. Did it feel forced for some characters? Yes, it definitely felt that way. I didn't really know what to expect for this mini book, but having a valentine's theme novella was not it. Honestly, I feel like the whole Shelby and Miles being in love was just thrown in there. It definitely came out of nowhere and it didn't feel genuine 😕. The little things they did, was way too fast for their "barely starting out "relationship" ". The fact that Miles had a thing for Luce, in which he even kissed her, and then in this book is all like "Oh I feel nothing for Luce, I feel everything for you Shelby!" Really Miles? You don't know what you want. And Shelby's character to me felt like she just became this love sick person. I really liked how I got the backstories of the other "angels". Honestly it explains alot. The whole daniel and Luce trying to be together again is just over played by now. Time for book 4 and hopefully that one won't drag!"
