"So great for Outlander fans to continue this epic tale with the latest book! The story of Jamie and Claire and their ever-growing entourage are in Fraser’s Ridge near the end of the Revolutionary War, entangled in ongoing (and some new) intrigues with your favorite characters and some new faces. Enjoy!!!!"
"Am I the only person who was wildly disappointed by this book? In almost 1000 pages, barely anything happened that seemed to matter. I didn’t grasp a cohesive plot. A ton of detail dedicated to insignificant events that didn’t seem to have a major impact on character arcs or overarching plot. While glossing over moments that deserved more attention. By far my least favorite installment. "
"Very slow read compared to the rest of her books."

"After a long wait I had more expectations for this book. I didn’t find myself in tears as much in this outlander book. Some story lines were harder to get through (kind of boring) and I’m comparing to the other outlander books. Those story lines were all pretty necessary though. I am still giving 4 stars because it did keep me interested to finish it. And now I will be anxiously waiting for the next book."
"To be honest, I haven’t read it yet. Still trying to finish the rest of the series. Just thought I’d add all Outlander books to my list. "
