NOTE: This is the special edition print of God of Wrath. To find the ebook and audiobook, please look for the main edition. From USA Today bestselling author Rina Kent comes a new STANDALONE enemies-to-lovers college romance. I'm trapped by the devil. What started as an innocent mistake turned into actual hell. In my defense, I didn't mean to get involved with a mafia prince. But he barged through my defenses anyway. He stalked me from the shadows and stole me from the life I know. Jeremy Volkov might appear charming, but a true predator lurks inside. He's out to possess, own, and keep me. But I have no plans to stick around in his blood-soaked world. Or so I think. This book is a dark unconventional romance and contains themes that aren't to everyone's liking. Please check the author's note for content warnings before reading.

"I ENJOYED:

Jeremy losing his mind over how Cecily had/has a crush on Landon. Because as you all know, I love watching a man squirm...

I DIDN'T ENJOY:

I wish Jeremy went farther with it and acted more unhinged.

Cause the glances I got of him during the previous books hinted at a much darker nature to him, and I just didn't feel like he was obsessed enough with Cecily...

Listen, our previous hero kidnapped the heroine and stole her to an island alone with him, and he wasn't even a scary mafia dude.

Meanwhile, all Jeremy does is complain and get angry about the Landon crush?

I NEEDED him to do more crazy ****.

I DIDN'T ENJOY:

How fast Rina Kent made Cecily get over Landon.

I get it, Jeremy is our hero, but with the crush on Landon, Rina Kent missed up the opportunity to add even more layers of sizzling tension.

I wanted Cecily to have a genuine, longer lasting crush on Landon, and then have Landon break her heart or something.

But she got over crush too quickly, and I was left disappointed.

Imagine how crazy Rina Kent could have made Jeremy when he sees that Cecily was mending a broken heart over another man...?!

Opportunity missed.

I ENJOYED:

Jeremy killing that ************ who was about to assault Cecily and locking up the other one to torture him for life.

Rapists deserve eternal torture and death, and Jeremy understood the assignment.

I DIDN'T ENJOY:

The primal kink whatever. Not my thing. And the worst part, it was not hot.

Like... if you absolutely HAVE to write răpe scenes, at least make them hot so I can enjoy them. Those scenes were not sexy to me. They were either cringy or plain boring.

Not the best **** Rina Kent has written. Actually, her worst, I might argue.

I ENJOYED:

ADRIAN!!!!! Loved seeing him. This man continues to be obsessed with Lia and I enjoy every single moment of it!!!!!

The DECEPTION trilogy was NOT enough, Rina, I need more Adrian and Lia inside my bloodstream."
"10/10🌶️🥵. I literally could not put this book down and was consumed by the plot and the characters in this book. The storyline is about a bad boy mafia prince who is next to inherit his dad’s position as mafia king but becomes so consumed a rebel girl with colored hair who happens to be part of his little sisters friend group. The book talks about assault and childhood trauma and how you can learn to heal instead of hate. There is so much more to this book than just 🌶️🌶️. "
"That was definitely… a book!"

"I knew Jeremy and Cecily would have some series chemistry since God Of Malice. She stood up to the mafia Prince with no worries about the consequences. I loved that about her.

I felt Jeremy would be possessive and touch her and die vibes. However, I never thought about his insecurities. I was shocked.

In the past books, I had a feeling Cecily had past trauma and hid it well from everyone. Jeremy saw right through it and knew something was wrong. Patient as he could be waiting for Cecily to tell him and make her feel safe."

"Two amazing words to describe this book. Jeremy. Volkov. I want that man to (thoughts redacted). ANYWAYS THIS WAS SO GOOD! Especially after how much I didn’t enjoy God of Pain, but yall this book was addictive. And I loved the dark romance genre. Something I’m not obsessed with. But this book did it so well! I was so invested! Cecily is my girl love her! But Jeremy Volkov… like THAT MAN IS SO FINE LIKE I WANT HIM SO BAD. In my opinion… he’s better than Zade Meadows… don’t come at me for that opinion."
"God of Wrath was a cute book. I really liked Cecily so much she was a great caring FMC, the way she cares about her friends especially Ava was so good. I felt for her, especially with what she went through and her mental health struggles.

I loved the conversations with Kim because it showed that mental health struggles don't just go away and is something that can stay with the person. Adrian and Jeremy's conversation was also really great.

I like Jeremy but not as much as I thought I would. I wanted more from him, I saw from early readers that he was more intense than his dad but I didn't see it in this story. His kinks were the darkest thing about him tbh. I liked how he cared about Cecily though which was cute but I just felt that we were missing that classic Rina twist. I wanted to see more of his relationship with his mother and dad and sister. We only got stuff about them in passing which was disappointing.

The plot was also very nonexistent I felt like nothing happened especially with people that are supposed to be in the mafia world. I don't know what I expected from this heathens and serpents storyline but maybe it will make sense with the mafia trilogy coming out.

Overall this was cute I'm excited for Landon Mia, Ava Elia, and Nikolia Brandon. I'm going to lower my expectations for the rest of the books because it's probably affecting my overall feeling about the series."
