"The genius of this story for me is how it reflects the concerns of teenagers (adults, too), such as where does identity come from; the desire to connect with others and how difficult it can be to navigate this need, even among a group of misfits; and how life doesn't easily lend itself to black/white, yes/no perspectives. These are questions that have no easy answers. Bio-ethics will no doubt be growing topic in our society, and Mary Pearson does a good job introducing some of the nuances of this issue.

I would love to see a sequel written from the point of view of Allys to see what she had to go through to come to terms with events."

"This started out with a really chilling, creepy feel. I hadn't heard too much about it but the cover and the small book blurb really intrigued me. I had a hard time concentrating on anything but my audiobook as the mystery grew and changed. Every time I thought I might have figured out what was going on (I was wrong. A lot.) my theories were blown out of the water. The Adoration of Jenna Fox was a perfectly crafted novel.

I was able to connect with Jenna right away. Learning about Jenna as she was learning about herself was really intense at times. I really felt bad for her, she had no idea what was going on and the people in her life were acting shady. There is so much to uncover and learn about. It really made the book gripping and intense.

I really enjoyed this as an audiobook. I really do think the reader added to the experience of the story. She did all the voices well and they were distinct. But she also carried emotion in her reading that really drew me in and helped me to connect with the character fast. The reader, also named Jenna, made the book come to life. I loved that I was able to lose myself in this story, just listening, as Jenna's life unfolded.

I recommend the book, but I really recommend the audio too. I loved the story but was so glad that I had the opportunity to listen to the story build and twist. The Adoration of Jenna Fox is truly a book you shouldn't miss."
"The plot is definitely exciting the whole way though and I liked not knowing everything while I was reading it "
