"I'll be honest with you, I only settled to reading this after seeing the protag in a FnF mod lol.<br/>Still, this was a fun, breezy little read. I don't see why so many readers complain about Greg being mean to be honest. He's a kid. Kids are mean little pricks.<br/>Can't say I'd read the rest of the books, but I didn't have a bad time either.<br/><br/>All in all, pretty enjoyable! Glad to get it out of my back.<br/>Be sure to read it if you want to regress for a bit, in a fun way, to how school used to be."

"As far as a children's book goes, I found the book to be funny and creative. it took little time to read and was very enjoyable through out."

"I picked this up for free on iBooks on my iPad. It was a quick read and I feel like it caught middle school mentality well. Some parts of it were even funny. I was appalled, however, by the main character. He starts the book off as a kid trying to get by in school, calling himself the wimpy kid, but he turns out to be a jerk to those older than him and a bully to his peers and those younger than him. I thought that he would learn some lessons and turn out to be a better person by the end, but he doesn't. He just goes from situation to situation, lying, tricking his parents or his friend or his friend's parents, just to get what he wants, which he sometimes does. <br/>I understand how the style of this book would appeal to kids, and if that's what it takes to get them into books then that's fine. And not every book has to be a lesson in morality. But this book disgusted me. Bullying is wrong and it's sad that this book became so popular. <br/>I almost gave it two stars because it is entertaining, but the negatives outweigh that too much for me. I would definitely not recommend this book to my kids. (I also wouldn't stop them from reading it, but would make sure to discuss it with them.)"
