"I just finished reading this book and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The author did a great job of keeping things as historically accurate as possible. It's heartbreaking to hear of the struggles immigrants faced in the US as well as their countries of origin. It accurately displays the selflessness of Andrew Carnegie and his contributions to America in the hopes of bettering those less fortunate. The ending was bittersweet, but it was a nice change. I may be a Marie Benedict fan in the making."
