You can run from the grave, but you can't hide . . . Half-vampire Cat Crawfield is now Special Agent Cat Crawfield, working for the government to rid the world of the rogue undead. She's still using everything Bones, her sexy and dangerous ex, taught her, but when Cat is targeted for assassination, the only man who can help her is the vampire she left behind.Being around him awakens all her emotions, from the adrenaline kick of slaying vamps side by side to the reckless passion that consumed them. But a price on her head—wanted: dead or half-alive—means her survival depends on teaming up with Bones. And no matter how hard she tries to keep things professional between them, she'll find that desire lasts forever . . . and that Bones won't let her get away again.

"Ugh Kat obviously didn't use her brain before she left Bone's in the last book. Her reasoning wasn't very sound to me. I was daydreaming the whole time about Bone's finding her ass in an awkward situation. But the way they reunited wasn't very satisfying it should have been more argumentative or something.<br/><br/>I still love the two characters though. There wasn't as much back and forth this time. Their snide comments against each other are my favorite so I hope they start back up in the series.<br/><br/>Also I'm not sure why the vampires has never seen a half human especially as long as they live. It's hard to believe that Kat is the only one.<br/><br/>I do hate that she ended up working with a bunch of sexist bastards. But in the end opens there dummy head eyes so that was good I guess. Also bringing back the dead always bugs me. Then I won't be scared that anyone can die. Which makes me not care for the characters as much.<br/><br/>The panties trick was hilarious. Omg Bone's is the best vampire character I've ever met in my entire life. Can't wait to see what other tricks he has up his sleeve.<br/><br/>Some of the scenes became a little corny. The first book was handled very well. I know it's difficult to write sexy scenes without a bit of eye rolling.<br/><br/>Kat fighting with the female vamp was by far my favorite part. Haha and then she tries to cover it up like Bone's can't smell the blood or see the broken furniture.<br/><br/>"I'm going to slap the **** out of you."<br/><br/>I'll probably keep going in the seires even though I was highly happy with this one. It could get better and I want to see where Kat and Bone's are headed."
"This is the second part to the first book and it's almost just as good as the first. <br/><br/>I love this series! However I did like the first book more. This one was not as amazing as the first but it did continue the perfect love story of Cat and Bones. At times I wanted to strangle Cat but I ended up loving Bones even more."

"I loved this book! This and the first book in series has gotten me out of a too long reading slump. I devoured this book in less than two days and that says a lot with 3 kids 6 and under. I listened to this book and I loved Bones accent. I also love Bones, Kat and the rest of Kat's team. I am already looking for The Other Half of the Grave because I need to read Bones perspective on the events from this story RIGHT NOW!!! Highly recommend this series!"
