"Second of the series. I absolutely loved it! I finished it in two days and might’ve gotten it wet because of my stupidity driving me to read in the pool. It’s a disease that my little sister “cured” not too long ago but it came back. 😔 Don’t worry about me though. Anywaysss, I had a hard time not crying towards the end of the book and the new characters’ POVs add more insight on everything which totally keeps you from being bored of the same old. Also, I am just obsessed with Cole and Isabel. Can’t wait for the next book to be in my possession! "
"As with the last Maggie Stiefvater that I read, “Shiver”, I couldn’t get enough of it! The tale of Grace and Sam hit even closer to home for me in this book because of what they go through (don’t worry, I won’t spoil!).

Maggie takes us through so much in “Linger”. I will hesitantly admit that yes, I did cry while reading this book on more than one occasion. Normally, sequels feel forced (as I’m sure you all know), but I feel like “Linger” is a perfect continuation of the story. I will always love her books, but I especially love the Wolves of Mercy Falls series.

I look up to Maggie as an author as well. Her ambition, her description, and her raw writing talent inspires me.

Long story short, if you do not read this series, then what are you doing with your life?"
"I'm continuing to love The Wolves of Mercy Falls series. It took me a while to get into the additional PoVs in this book, particularly Cole's. And one of his chapters was pretty upsetting (at least to a vegetarian like me). But he grew on me towards the end. I also found the... lore? Science? Of the wolves to be quite interesting this time around. And of course, I continued to love Sam and Grace's story. Their tragic soulmate love keeps me obsessed with this series."
"I actually really liked this book. The beginning and middle were kind of boring. I wasn't sure of the significance behind them explaining Cole's backstory but I did like the interactions between Isabel and Cole. Cole was a complex character and I like him but definitely not as much as Sam or Grace. I was suprised at the unbridled anger and violence displayed by Tom Culpepper and I honestly can't wait till he meets his maker. What a jerk! I understand where Grace's parents were coming from, when they were angry at Sam and Grace for their deception and to be honest, if I were a parent, I'm not sure how I would deal with it but not they way they did. I was mad at Mr. Brisbane for losing his head but I'm happy that Cole was there to help. Cole had a purpose in the end but it still doesn't change the fact that I felt the book dragged and it was difficult for me to finish. If you liked the first one, you will like this one. I was slightly dissappointed but it was still good."
