An instant New York Times bestseller! Snarky and romantic, I Hope This Doesn't Find You is Never Have I Ever meets To All the Boys I've Loved Before if Lara Jean wrote hate emails instead of love letters.Sadie Wen is perfect on paper: school captain, valedictorian, and a "pleasure to have in class." It's not easy, but she has a trick to keep her model-student smile plastered on her face at all times: she channels all her frustrations into her email drafts. She'd never send them of course -- she'd rather die than hurt anyone's feelings -- but it's a relief to let loose on her power-hungry English teacher or a freeloading classmate taking credit for Sadie's work. All her most vehemently worded emails are directed at her infuriating cocaptain, Julius Gong, whose arrogance and competitive streak have irked Sadie since they were kids. "You're attention starved and self-obsessed and unbearably vain . . . I really hope your comb breaks and you run out of whatever expensive hair products you've been using to make your hair appear deceptively soft . . ."Sadie doesn't have to hold back in her emails, because nobody will ever read them . . . that is, until they're accidentally sent out.Overnight, Sadie's carefully crafted, conflict-free life is turned upside down. It's her worst nightmare -- now everyone at school knows what she really thinks of them, and they're not afraid to tell her what they really think of her either. But amidst the chaos, there's one person growing to appreciate the "real" Sadie -- Julius, the only boy she's sworn to hate . . . .

"CUTE AF! But I was getting real tired of them not admitting their VERY obvious feelings for each other LOL. Finally when they do, it’s *chefs kiss* glorious. This book also gives a very realistic depiction of what it means to be an overachiever, so I really enjoyed that aspect of it too."

“For ten years I thought I was preparing to destroy you when really I was preparing to love you.”
This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for, this is EXACTLY (I don’t mean to sound like Kat Williams) but this is EXACTLY what I’ve been waiting for. I love the absolute giddy feeling I get from YA romances like this. If you want something easy, fast, submersible, with lots of fluff this is it. Was in the mood for a teen romcom and this definitely delivered. Will be reading her other books the next time I’m in this mood. I’m literally still smiling while writing this.

It has been a hot minute since I’ve been able to read a book this quickly and enjoyed every second. Most books take me like 9-12 hours total and this took like 5 or 6??? I couldn’t stop and it flew by like a movie. It ended so abruptly but I think because it was fast paced the whole time and then suddenly I didn’t get to see anymore cuteness.

It’s not necessary anything special but very cute and had me giggling like crazy. Really obvious that they both had feelings for each other (whether they knew it or not) yet I enjoyed it heavily. Julius I love and I’ll probably remember a few key cute moments. For fans of Better than the Movies, To All the Boys, and Today Tonight Tomorrow.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me with the arc 🫶🏼"
"As someone who loves to rant, both to friends and internally about ****** situations, I was immediately drawn to I Hope This Doesn’t Find You. The premise of Sadie having all the emails she wrote (ranting about classmates and teachers) leaked was intriguing and I was curious how Liang was going to handle it. It turns out she handled it extremely well. I’ve read Liang’s two other YA novels and liked each one so I wasn’t surprised that I had a fun time reading this one as well. Julius and Sadie have a good academic rivalry going that adds tension to their relationship which also demonstrates how there is a very think line between love and hate. I wish there had been a bit more time spent exploring the in between phase of their relationship but overall I was still satisfied. It was gratifying to see Sadie learn from her mistake. I think in the end she learned she didn’t need to people please as much BUT that her emails were not the right call, she knew she needed to address her problems in a more respectful way.

Thank you to Net Galley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review."

"One of the best rivals to lovers I’ve read. The tension throughout the whole book is amazing and it was frustrating and giggle inducing at the same time. The book was an emotional roller coaster and I was grinning like a little kid when everything came together at the end."
