Northern Exposure Even in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham—who has been openly critical of Mo’s ability to adapt to life in Alaska—has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble. For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, it’s love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s worried that he might be the violent canine in question. If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated. . . .

"Audiobook listen: The narration is great, with a few spots in edited that could have been better (one part didn't even sound like Amanda).

Freakin' hilarious! I fell in love with Harper's Nice Girl series, it only seems appropriate for her to come out with it's counterpart, the werewolf series.

Mo was such a great character. I loved reading and seeing her world through her eyes. Harper is a genius at snark, and I loved the fully loaded Mo and her journey to find herself. What makes this one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read, is the balance. The funny parts don't overshadow the serious ones and vice versa. It never felt like any of the funny moments was over the top or felt forced.

The plot was fantastic. I love how Harper thinks this stuff out. She doesn't take something and make it unbelievable, she takes it and makes it real. We never got an inkling of who might be out maiming and killing the townsfolk and the mystery was never spoiled.

I can't express enough how much I love Molly Harper and her books. They are always funny, always well written and always high up on my to be read list. You need to take a moment, check out the book, maybe even buy it now, and read this book. You will not be sorry!"
"Somehow I always end up reading series out of order, luckily in this series it didn't really matter much :-).
I really enjoyed this book but not as much as I did the third in this series. Mo has ***** and Cooper has a way of being infuriating and love able. This book had all the great elements: romance, angst, steam, werewolves, suspense, etc. I really enjoyed this relatively quick read and looking forward to the next in the series."
