A hidden truth. Mortal enemies. Doomed love. With her rare ability to breathe fire, Jacinda is special even among the draki—the descendants of dragons who can shift between human and dragon forms. But when Jacinda’s rebelliousness forces her family to flee into the human world, she struggles to adapt, even as her draki spirit fades. The one thing that revives it is the gorgeous, elusive Will, whose family hunts her kind. Jacinda can’t resist getting closer to him, even though she knows she’s risking not only her life but the draki’s most closely guarded secret. Mythical powers and breathtaking romance ignite in this story of a girl who defies all expectations and whose love crosses an ancient divide.

"I loved reading each book in this book series. Firelight, vanish and hidden. All good books. It’s definitely a mix of romance, enemies to lovers, suspense and so much more. "

"I've had this sitting on my shelf forever. I bought it just after the release because the cover really caught my attention. But I let it just sit there until I had gone through most of the other books on my shelf. I picked this up and almost immediately, I was kicking myself for waiting so long. It had me from the start and I sailed right on through it.

I wasn't sure what to make of the pride. We don't see them too much in this one, we see Jacinda struggling to adapt to a completely different life. I felt her loss almost as keenly as she did herself. Her draki withering in her new surroundings. I'm not going to lie, I didn't care for her mom for some of this. I get she was protecting Jacinda, but I didn't like she was forcing a huge decision onto her daughter.

I really did like this but I'm a little wary of how things will go in the coming books. I'm not usually a fan of Romeo and Juliet story lines or love triangles. And this has both. I like Will, but I like Cassian a bit more. I tend to latch onto the guy that most likely won't come out on top. This would have been a 5 star book if the romance in it wasn't so complicated.

I really liked the dragon aspect of this. It really stands out with all the other paranormal young adult books out there and it was very entertaining. I'm glad I finally picked it up and I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next. ASAP."
"I wasn't real sure about this book. I loved the cover though and the description sounded interesting but, to be completely honest, I thought this would be one of those books that I borrow from the library but never read. Boy, I'm glad I did! What a find! Dragons meet Romeo & Juliet in the ultimate fantastical romance. I loved Jacinda and Will. I was pleasantly suprised with this book and I have to read Vanish immediately. I'm not a huge fan of romance but this book really had me rooting for Will and Jacinda. If you liked fantasy and romance, you will definitely like this book!"
