"Dnf. Got to chapter 11 and just stopped. Even though this story was a twist on a popular Christmas classic it didn't feel Christmassy at all to me. There was no warm fires or cold nights just not really any holiday feels at all. I didn't like the main scrooge character which is to be expected but a good/bad character is one you love to hate. She just didn't cut it. The story was bland and predictable. The summary was great though I mean Iv never seen were someone didn't choose to be good in the end but honestly I'm sure she does before the book is over just don't feel like reading to find out. I found myself daydreaming and forcing to read on and I dont enjoy books that way. I was looking for that modern but still classic Christmas bliss and there wasn't any atmosphere to this book."
"All great literature seeks to answer this question: "What does it mean to be human?"<br/>Holly Chase is dead. She's essentially a zombie. In her afterlife, she goes on a journey to discover what it means to be human again. This book is a celebration of being alive with a super cute romance thrown into the mix. It's the best type of romance, where BOTH people bring out the best in each other! There's also some fantasy/supernatural elements, and all together it makes the best Christmas read!! Seriously, if you even remotely like the YA genre, then you need to pick up this book next Christmas! There's so many lovable characters that have very satisfying character development!"
"OMG. This book had so many moments where I wanted to throw to the other end of my room and never look back at it, but I didn’t. I didn’t evened put it down. That’s how good it was."
