"Best book so far in 2023! <br/>It takes a domestic thriller to the next level and once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. <br/><br/>This book spins infertility and donor sperm births on its head. <br/>This is one high flying adrenaline ride you don’t want to miss and that ending…wow it completely blew my mind!! <br/><br/>I’m a huge fan of JT Ellison and this might be her best book yet! Make sure you read the author’s note at the end as she has personal experience with infertility and miscarriage! <br/><br/>I applaud you J. T. for sharing such a personal experience you have had for others to read and you are correct it should be made more aware. I shared that journey also."

"4.5 ⭐️<br/><br/>It could’ve been a 5 star read for me if it had a different ending! <br/>I listened to 3/4 of the book in audio version & read the other 1/4. I truly think listening to it is what made me love it so much. I found myself wishing I could speed up the narrarator just to know what was happening next. <br/><br/>I enjoyed the variety of characters & each chapter being a different POV. I also really enjoyed the chapters being labeled “the wife”, “the detectives”, etc versus just using their names. <br/><br/>I did guess who dunnit fairly early on, but it didn’t take away from the book at all and that’s rare! <br/><br/>I’d definitely recommend.<br/><br/>*be aware though, HEAVY trigger warning on infertility/miscarriage. It’s mentioned pretty consistently throughout the book.*"
