"Personally, I love this book! It's a solid 4 stars from me. Personally, 3/5 in the spice despt. Poor Poppy! I mean her parents are killed, her brother taken from her at a to young of an age and then she is basically shoved into her room where no one is allowed to talk to her or see her except like 5 people and none of them are actually good people. She meets Hawke and starts falling hard only to be betrayed by him. Heart broken, she has to figure out what the world really is because she was kept hidden for so long and dealt with being kidnapped. I love that she is feisty and a murderous little creature 😍 Her and Hawke begin an Enemy to Lovers trope. The journey of places they go through are very creative and different from other stories I've read. The misty mountains of the God's were incredible, and what she 👀 is very interesting! I do hope his parents get killed off. They seem awful. And Alastair 🤬 What a jack wagon! In all honesty, I dont know what all of the bad reviews are about. I think people just like giving bad reviews, 😆 I'm totally on board for the next book!"

"Fantasy! Second book in the blood and ash series!! The fake “dating” is done well and so many tropes everyone loves: one bed, bad dream, etc. I’ve already ranted about this series in the enemies to lovers section, but def recommend! As always, make sure you’re okay with NA themes."
