"A really good read"

"This novel has been hanging out on my TBR for a while now and I finally got to it while on vacation. I was able to read it in one sitting which I think is part of the reason why I liked it more than some others might have. I really loved the setting of this novel. I did get a Knives Out vibe from the story, but less satirical. As soon as I finished, I quickly looked to see if there would be more novels for our narrator, Andy Mills, and was so excited since it seems there will be. I really enjoyed the world Lev AC Rosen created in this novel and I can’t wait to see what comes next. "
"I LOVE A FAMILY DRAMA/BEEF!!!
This story had a lot of things to love inside of the cover, lgbt+ characters🌈, interesting murder, family problems/dynamics. I also ate this **** up ⬆️!! I will say it’s a little predictable who the murderer is, BUT WHY the killer killed is the good part. I got this book as a blind book from B&N and was not disappointed!"
"I admit, I wanted more f***ed up stuff to happen as part of the mystery and I couldn’t relate to the really flat narrator/main character. I loved the family dynamic and queer rep and the ending is satisfying even if I wish there were more things like when the dead *** showed up in the ****. "
