"Their journey through Scrublands was intense and satisfying. Every hot day and each new twist kept me wanting more. Every chapter left me with new questions, a deeper since of investment into the story and the characters. The setting is described beautifully. I found my self thirsty and hot as if I was walking through Scrublands. What I loved was how dark-western this was, while not really being dark or a western at all. I’m glad I read this.

The journey was exciting, but ultimately the destination left me a little disappointed. Like coming home from an amazing vacation to a Monday at work. I “get” the ending but compared to the journey it was sub par. The last 50 pages or so had me thinking, “really? This is how this all ties in” not a bad ending, just not what I expected or wanted to come to at the end of an incredible journey"
"Decent writing, page turner. "
