"I sped through this book! As soon as I started reading, I was re-immersed in the story, as if I’d never left. I adore the L’Eden crew with my whole heart, and Chokshi created such an amazing historical fantasy world. There’s so much to love about this book, including the perfect blend of angst, puzzles, and humor. The ending was perfect too, bittersweet though it was. I know I’ll be thinking about (and recommending!) these books for a long time! ❤️❤️"
"I love this book so much. From book 1, you can see that the author has refined her craft immensely, and it was already amazing from book 1. The complex relationships, the character development, the worldbuilding, the plot, EVERYTHING was done so well and tied together in such a satisfying way, that I couldn't help but admire the author throughout the entire story. The book was so uniquely hers, where all of the characters were fleshed out and were still relevant to the story. At first, I wasn't so sure about the ending, but the more I think about it, the better it became. I think it was better that it ended this way, rather than something predictable. It fits with the tone of the rest of the story and I have come to like it very much. Sure, it's not the most perfect ending, but considering how much I loved the rest of the book, I can forgive the book for not having a perfect conclusion, because the perfect ending is subjective to everyone. But the book was so good, and it makes my heart swell. All in all, the book was fantastic and I truly will miss all of the characters so much."
"I’m so sad this series is over but I loved every single one of these books!!
This one felt really high-stakes and I really liked it, I love the heist vibe and how none of the characters immediately forgave people for betraying them (iykyk)
The twist with the divine lyre thing and the ending was just perfect and I loved it so much, Roshani Chokshi is an amazing author and this trilogy was fantastic"
