It's been 21 days since the hundred landed on Earth. They're the only humans to set foot on the planet in centuries... or so they thought. Book 2 in The 100 series, now a popular show on the CW network. Facing an unknown enemy, Wells attempts to keep the group together. Clarke strikes out for Mount Weather, in search of other colonists, while Bellamy is determined to rescue his sister, no matter the cost. And back on the ship, Glass faces an unthinkable choice between the love of her life and life itself. In this pulse-pounding sequel to The 100, secrets are revealed, beliefs are challenged, and relationships are tested. And the hundred will struggle to survive the only way they can--together.

"I know this book goes both ways, people either love it or hate it... mainly because they watched the TV show first and they feel like the books don't measure up.

I watched the show first, I didn't even know it was a book series but when I found out I was so excited to read it as well... it didn't disappoint me. I wasn't expecting them to be on the same level, of course, a TV show with real people is going to be fast-paced and action-packed but I still loved the book.

Do I think the books could have added more? Yes, of course. But, I feel like if you think about what's happening in the story (a bunch of humans from space seeing earth for the first time and trying to survive) this was done excellently. It's exactly how I would imagine trying to survive on earth after being forced to travel to a place you aren't sure is liveable, or safe, not knowing what's going to happen, and then trying to survive against people that you thought were long gone.

I enjoy this series, and I love the show both."
"This book is fast paced and I enjoy that. I normally take forever to read books, but I finished this one in a week. That’s fast for me. I’m already reading the third book of the series. "

"I loved this tv show and now I was like, 'the book is always better, so let's read it.' I read reviews for like a half hour and thought everyone was just trolls because how could someone hate this that much? Well I did and if I go in to details I will never stop ranting, so read it at your own boredom."
